Happy Easter from Team Kerr!

  • Make it a Happy Easter for the whole family with these activities around the Lower Mainland. From epic egg hunts to the cherry blossom festival, we’ve sourced the best ways to enjoy the long weekend with your children and the young-at-heart.

    1. The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt + Brunch at the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish groups children by age for the hunt to ensure everyone gets a treat, features an arts and crafts station, and offers two brunch seating times. The egg hunt is free with lift tickets and kids under 6 are free for brunch. Purchase your tickets in advance to reserve brunch seating.
    2. From March 19th – 28th ride the Stanley Park Easter Train and get to see the Easter Bunny! Join in games and crafts, face painting, and of course, an Easter egg hunt along with a themed ride on the rails through Stanley Park. Reserve early for this popular annual event.
    3. Take a detour from the expected Easter activities with a guided Bird Walk to learn about the native species that make their home in the beautiful VanDusen Botanical Gardens. This peaceful celebration of spring and nature will go on rain or shine, and the walk is free for members or with admission.
    4. Spend “Easter at the Cannery” for the annual Easter Salmon scavenger hunt in the historic Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site. All participants aged 2 – 12 years old receive a goody-bag of Easter treats. The family-orientated weekend also features crafts, games, and the Easter Salmon hunt starts every 30 minutes from 10am – 5pm.
    5. It wouldn’t be spring in Vancouver without those lovely pink blossoms all around town. Celebrate the season with the Cherry Blossom Festival March 21st to April 17th, featuring several events around the city and an interactive map that shows what’s blooming and where so you’ll always know where to catch the best blooms in action.
